Meet the Team

Rick brings over 30 years broad-based experience in human resources, employee relations and health and safety management to IMS.

His experience extends to major construction projects, alumina industry operations, the establishment of new petroleum company operations in Australia servicing the Asia Pacific Region. His time served in working with an international, multi-disciplined contracting company adds further breadth to his skills base.

Rick provides overall leadership and strategic direction to IMS, overseeing the management of services provided to clients.  Rick is also available for strategic consulting expertise.

Christine joined IMS in August 2011 to increase the range of specialist Aboriginal Engagement Consultancy Services.

Christine has developed and managed a range of Indigenous participation and employment projects for some of the nation's biggest and most successful companies over a diverse and dynamic 30 year career in Indigenous employment, education and training.  Her experience covers both the private and public sectors providing her with a unique insight into Aboriginal affairs and politics.

Her expertise, experience and skills are unique to the construction industry.

Mandy is the IMS Senior Human Resources Consultant specializing in Indigenous Engagement Services.  Mandy is passionate about indigenous employment and brings a new and refreshing approach to an issue that provides both a challenge and an opportunity to make a positive difference. Her personality and positive attitude coupled with her high achievement focus produces results.

Mandy holds a Bachelor of Psychology with a double major in Sociology and post graduate studies in Human Resources.  She was a finalist in 2005 for the Outstanding Manager Category of the National Corporate Leaders Indigenous Employment Awards.

Joining the team in August 2010, Matthew Rigby increases the depth of the IMS industrial relations capability.

Matt has over 20 years experience in HR/IR with 7 years on major construction projects. His experience covers working for major construction contractors on the ConocoPhillips Darwin LNG Project in Darwin, Project Magnet in Whyalla South Australia and more recently back in WA on the Woodside Pluto LNG Project and the BHP Billiton Iron Ore Asset Development Projects.

Matthew is quality driven, always seeking the maximum benefit return to clients.  He is adept in the development and implementation of IR strategies, employment agreements, recruitment processes and HR/IR management plans.

Sylvia Dunscombe joined IMS in October 2011 to expand the range of human resources and industrial relations services available to Clients.

Sylvia's experience lies in delivering strategic and operational generalist HR/ER support to multidisciplinary businesses. Experience includes LNG, Marine Expansion, Mineral Processing, Material Handling, Waste Water Treatment Facilities and Civil/Earthworks.

Since joining IMS Sylvia has been assisting in the development of HR and IR Plans, procedures and documentation for IMS Clients. Sylvia has a strong customer service focus with the ability to implement practices that suit business/project needs while maintaining credibility and compliance with overarching frameworks.

Jenny has an extensive administrative background in a range of business environments that includes experience on WA resource projects and in recruitment.

Jenny is involved in all aspects of the day to day business activities at IMS and is responsible for its efficient operation.  She is also responsible for IMS specialised recruitment services and manages the recruitment/network of IMS contacts and the placement process.

Jenny is a valued member of the team, ensuring the professional delivery of services acoss the IMS business is maintained.
